1. The Art Workshop
The Art Workshop is a family-owned and -operated art school providing various painting courses for adults and kids.
Expert and welcoming instructors will guide you through your choice of acrylic, watercolor, oil, or mixed-media painting.
Bring your refreshments, or use the many surrounding restaurants and bars. Parties, gatherings, and seminars are also welcome at the paint and drink studio.
Since opening in 2015, The Art Workshop has garnered excellent customer feedback. The price ranges from £20 to £25 per person for each sip and paint session, depending on the medium and length of the painting.
2. Peggy Potts
The only place in Cardiff to paint your ceramics and take them home is at Peggy’s Pots. There is a wide selection of sizes and shapes, including cups, plates, bowls, vases, and decorative pieces.
Stamps, stencils, stickers, and paintbrushes are other useful tools for making personalized artwork. The drink and paint studio has everything you might need, instructions, and ideas.
Food and drink can be brought in from outside sources or purchased from neighboring establishments. The paint and wine studio is accessible from 10 AM to 4 PM, Wednesday through Sunday.

Cardiff Pottery Workshops, located in Llandough Trading Estate on Penarth Road, is a privately-owned pottery studio.
There are 6-week courses in clay throwing and hand building, weekend workshops, masterclasses, team building events, paint parties, and private lessons available at Cardiff Pottery Workshops.
In addition to that, it offers specialized programs for children, elders, and adults who struggle with their mental health.
Experienced potters eager to share their knowledge and love of clay teach the paint and drink lessons. Workshops and courses are often offered on a single Saturday or once a week for six consecutive weeks.
Cardiff Pottery Workshops charges £40 per session for weekend workshops or £180 for 6 sessions (including supplies). In addition, you may become a member of the studio for £50 per month and use all of the resources within during business hours.

At the Meanwhile House on Williams Way in Grangetown, you’ll find the artist’s workshop known as the Kate Broadhurst Studio. It focuses on drawing, painting, and sketching as the primary activities of its in-person and online art lessons.

The Broadway Drawing School (BDS) in Roath is a privately run art institution. The BDS’s professional drawing teaching program is the only one in Cardiff. In addition, it has year-round festivals, events, and exhibitions.
The paint and wine courses are designed for students of all skill levels. They range in subject matter from still life to landscape, abstract, portrait, and figure drawing.
Expert instructors guide students one-on-one and offer constant feedback. Classes meet once a week for two hours during the academic year.
Ten sessions of BDS’s sketching class cost £120 (including supplies). If you’d rather just show up when you’re free, prices are £15 per sip and paint session.

You may find the modern art gallery Oriel Canfas in Cardiff’s Canton.
