Where to Find Sip and Paint Instructors

Sharing is caring!

Have you been thinking about hosting a sip and paint party, either at your home or at an art studio, or at another location? Are you wondering where you can find the right art instructor for your party?

If you live in my area, I would suggest that you give me a call to book your party. But, I can’t be everywhere. So, today I am going to give you some suggestions to help you find just the right instructor for your party.

There are several things that you will need to consider before hiring a paint and sip instructor. These are also things that we are going to discuss today.

Keep reading to learn more about finding the best instructor for your next paint and sip event.

#1. Consider the Skill Level of Your Guests

Before you can hire an instructor for a paint and sip party, you need to think about the skill level of those who will be attending. If this is going to be strictly a beginner class, you don’t want an artist who teaches techniques that are geared toward more advanced painters.

Most art instructors will teach classes for all levels of experience. Often, there will be some guests at painting parties who have more painting experience than others.

This can be a problem if the instructor is only teaching beginner techniques. This is why I like to teach the fundamentals along with some more advanced techniques.

Beginners can benefit from learning about these techniques, even if they aren’t quite ready to use them. The more advanced students will get more enjoyment out of the class because they won’t be bored while being taught techniques they already know and use.

#2. Use the Yellow Pages

Do you remember the old advertisement that said, “Let your fingers do the walking through the yellow pages”? This is a pretty good idea.

These days, we don’t get phone books, but there are still “yellow pages” where you can conduct your search for a paint and sip teacher. Modern yellow pages can be found online, and they will give you a lot of information, including artists’ names and contact information.

#3. Do an Internet Search

While it is okay to start with the yellow pages, you are only going to get just so much information about the various artists you look up. I suggest following up a yellow pages search with a Google search.

Type in what you are looking for, and you will find a huge list of paint and sip artists from all over the world. You may want to narrow down your search to find artists within your local area.

One website I recommend checking out is gigsalad.com. This site offers a search tool so you can find paint and sip instructors near you.

You will be asked to enter the type of event you are hosting. Maybe the painting party is for a birthday party.

Next, you will be asked how many guests you are planning on inviting. After entering this information, you will be asked if you know the address where the party will be held. Answer “yes” or “no”, and then you will be asked to provide the address.

The following questions will be about the date and time of the party, and how long you want the painting session to last. After answering these questions, you will be asked to explain a bit about the party, such as venue requirements, your budget, and any other special requests.

You will also be asked to provide your name and contact information, including your phone number and email address. Finally, you will need to create a log in password and mention the age range of your guests.

Once you have entered all of the necessary information, all you have to do is sit back and wait to be contacted with a list of art instructors in your area who teach at paint and sip parties.

While You are Waiting…

It never hurts to continue your online search for paint and sip instructors while you are waiting for someone from this website to get back to you.

Make sure that your search includes the area you live in. Otherwise, you could end up getting results from all over the world. Chances are you aren’t planning on traveling to another country to host a paint and sip party, so you don’t need to have these come up in your search.

#4. Get Recommendations from Other Party Hosts

If you know others who have hosted painting parties you can ask them about their experiences to find out about the instructors they hired. These may be good options for your own paint and sip party.

#5. Use an Online Tutorial

It may be that you live in a small town or a rural area and there aren’t very many options available for sip and paint instructors. For instance, I live in a small town located in a rural area. There are only two or three instructors besides myself in the area.

It may even be necessary to travel to another location to host your party.

Another option is to use an online painting tutorial. There are hundreds, if not thousands of online painting tutorials available on YouTube that you can use at absolutely no cost.

There are several advantages to using online tutorials. First, you can save money by not having to hire someone. Also, you can stop and rewind the tutorial if you or your guests need to go over something again.

Conclusion

When you want to do anything, where there is a will, there is a way. This includes finding the right instructor for your paint and sip party.

I suggest using the website that I mentioned earlier in this post because it is a great way to narrow things down and get the best instructor or paint and sip company for your needs.

It is a good idea to prepare a list of all of your needs, including the date, time, and location of the party, as well as the number of guests and their level of experience. The more information you have to work with the easier it will be to find a paint and sip instructor in your area.
